PRAYER & FASTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Reflect on God’s Word – Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy
mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do
according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and
then thou shalt have good success”
LIMIT YOUR TIME ON TV, CELL PHONE, AND COMPUTERS.
Guard Your Gates:
The Eyes (What You See)
Matthew 6:22 “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.”
The Ear (What You Hear)
Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
The Mouth Gate (What You Say and Eat)
Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue”
The Heart (Your Desires and Intentions)
Proverbs 4:23 “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
The Mind (What You Think)
Romans 12:2 “Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
The Feet (Where You Go)
Proverbs 4:26-27“Ponder the path of thy feet and let all thy ways be established. V27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: Remove thy foot from evil.”
2. Read: Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within
me.” We have to have a righteous spirit.
John 16:13 “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all
truth: for he shall not speak of himself: but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:
and he will shew you things to come.” The Spirit of God is a revealer.
1 Thess 5:17-19 “Pray without ceasing. V18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will
of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. V19 Quench not the Spirit.”
Eph 4:30 “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of
redemption.”
Gal 5:16 “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.’
Anytime the enemy comes in, the best defense is to move out of the way and allow the Holy
Spirit to fight for us. Exodus 14:14 “The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your
peace”. This week build a relationship with God like never before. Surrender will be the key;
Surrender to His will, Surrender to His voice, Surrender to His leading. When you learn how to
surrender you are saying “Not my will, but thy Will be done”. You no longer operate in your own
strength, but the strength of God.
Allow Him to speak to you concerning your body (how you should fast). We need to purify our
bodies. What should I remove from my life (Food, Habits, Distractions)? This effects our walk
with God. Discipline your body this week.
A Week of Manifestation: This Week will not be ordinary. This will be a week where heaven
invades the earth; A week where we will see the Hand of God move in our lives. We are
believing for manifestation of His promises concerning us!
This week will be:
- A week that Healing will manifest (Isaiah 53:5)
- A week that Power will manifest in every area of our lives (Acts 1:8)
- A week of renewal (Eph 4:23)
- A week of purpose (Jer 28:11)
- A week of transformation (Rom 12:2)
Our prayer is, after this week, WE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN!!!!
